WHAT IS AN ENHANCED COMMERCIAL DESKTOP REBUILD COST ASSESSMENT?
Put simply, it’s a desktop assessment with an added phone call from one of our RICS-accredited surveyors to discuss the property in further detail. Previously, when a desktop assessment was not suitable for a commercial property, a more costly and time-consuming site survey was the only alternative. Now, with Enhanced Commercial Desktops (ECD), this is no longer the case.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ENHANCED COMMERCIAL DESKTOP AND A SITE ASSESSMENT?
One key difference is price. An ECD costs much less than a site survey. The current rate is £350 +VAT. Not only is it money saved, it’s also time. We will complete an ECD within 10 working days. This is all without a surveyor needing to visit your commercial property. All ECDs can be completed remotely.
